Altered Wooden Box

Hi Everyone,

Here is my latest YouTube video showcasing a wooden box that I altered using the July Kit from Scrap'n With Flair as well as some other projects purchased from the store.

I hope you all enjoyed it and I would love to hear any feedback or comments.  I will post pictures of the project in a few days.

Hurry to the store to purchase your own kit before they all sell out.  It is filled with Basic Grey's Plumeria line and a bunch of other goodies.  For the first time ever, you have the option of purchasing an add on kit with more goodies that coordinate with the kit.  You can get your kit and add on kit here.

Until next time.

Scrap'n With Flair July Kit

Hey Everyone,

The new July Kit from Scrap'n With Flair was released on July 1, 2012.  It is a fabulous kit filled with so many goodies and you now have the option of ordering an add on kit filled with even more goodies.  Just go to Scrap'n With Flair to get your kits.

The first project I made with this kit is I altered a jar.
I took some cardstock (my own stash) and added a piece of the patterned paper to it and wrapped it around the jar.  I then took some lace trim (in the kit) and glued it on the top of the cardstock piece.

Then I took some of the flowers in the kit and stuck them on the top of the jar.  I took some of the Dusty Concord Tim Holtz Distress Ink (in the kit) and colored the edges of the large white flower.

Lastly, I took some of the flat backed pearls and stuck them on the seam of the paper
on the back of the jar to finish it off.

When I decide who this jar will go to, I will take one of the tags (in the kit) and attach it to the front of the jar.

I have already created several projects with the July Kit and add on kit as it is the beautiful Plumeria line from Basic Grey.  Stay tuned for more projects.

Also, I will be announcing the July Challenge in a few days.  Thank you to all who entered the June challenge and I am looking forward to seeing all the entries for the July challenge.

Until next time.
