Baby Girl Card

Hey Everyone,

Just a reminder the National Scrapbooking Day challenge for Scrap'n With Flair ends on May 22, 2012 with the winner being chosen and announced on May 23, 2012.  The prize is awesome so make sure you get your entry in.

Here is a baby girl card I made for a coworker.  I think it is cute and turned out well.

I cannot wait until June 1st to be able to show off all the projects I have been making with the June kit from Scrap'n With Flair.  Stay tuned.

Challenge for National Scrapbooking Day

Hello Everyone,
Happy National Scrapbooking Day!

For this wonderful occasion, I have come up with a challenge for Scrap'n With Flair and we have a wonderful prize for the winner.  All entries must be sent via email to me at tamarastrunk@sasktel.net and received by May 22, 2012.  All entries will be posted to my and the Scrap'n With Flair blog.

A draw for the winner will be made on May 23, 2012 and the winner's name will be posted to my and the Scrap'n With Flair blog.

So, the challenge for National Scrapbooking Day is............................you need to make a 3D item or alter an item.

I created a 3D flower pot.

The following pictures are taken all around the flower pot. 

I used my new Silhouette Cameo machine to make the flower pot.  I actually used a basket template but just left the handle off.  Then I took some of my I Am Roses and painted them with various colors of Lindy's Stamp Gang magicals.  You can really see the glitter in the following pictures.

To make the "dirt" I took white flower soft and dyed it with a brown reinker. 

 I think it turned out great and looks like real dirt.

Exciting News!!!!!!

Hey Everyone,

I am so excited to announce I am on the Scrap'n With Flair Design Team for a second term!!!!!!!!!!  There are 6 very talented design team members that I am so excited to be creating with.  You can read all about them and view all their wonderful creations on their blogs here. 

I have received my kit and am already creating with all the fantastic goodies inside.  I cannot wait until June first when I can start showing you all the treasures I have made as well as see all the projects the other design team members have made.
